OUR HISTORY

Have a drink at the bowls club that was fit for the Queen. That's right, her majesty Queen Elizabeth II perched on our 18+ balcony to cheer on the lawn bowls action at the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games.

FUNCTIONS

We offer a variety of spaces for functions both indoors and outdoors.

From first birthdays to parties for those turning seventy to weddings on the green or baptisms and baby showers. You name it, and we've likely done it.

GET INVOLVED

It’s a beautiful, but dilapidated building and grounds, which requires a lot of love from a lot of hands and a load of money to return her to her former glory!

The Main Bar opening hours:

  • Wednesday, 5:30pm - 8pm

  • Friday, 3pm - 8pm 

  • Saturday, 1pm - 8pm

  • Sunday, 1pm - 7pm


Bean on the Green cafe opening hours:

  • Open 7 days, 6:15am - 12 noon
