Proposed Site Usage
1. A new "front door" with improved access (for wheelchairs, prams, etc) and increased street presence and signage. A balance between shade and landscape, with access for weekend food trucks.
2. Existing clubhouse functions to continue; wet weather area, dining, yoga, function hire, coffee shop and bar area. Improvements to increase accessibility, compliant bathrooms, future restaurant, other ideas?
3. Sports courts to be refurbished to accomodate informal ball games, plus cricket, soccer, netball, basketball, hockey or other suggestions?
4. A mix of open lawn for picnic rugs, informal use and outdoor events, with increased shade options for dining close to the cafe or food trucks.
5. Bowling green retained with shade on the sidelines. Improve access and connection to area 4 (mixed use green) and 2 (clubhouse and bar).
6. Informal lawn as currently used, with potential venue hire. Shade over existing sideline seating.
