The Curious Community Quarterly Bookclub - Term 1 2026

The Curious Community Quarterly Bookclub welcomes locals to come together and discuss four books across the year to explore different perspectives and genres through literature. Our reading will include a new release Australian novel, a contemporary international novel, a classic work of fiction and a non-fiction book so that readers get a broad and varied selection to experience and chat about! 

This bookclub is for FREE all readers, especially anyone interested in reinvigorating their reading, and hearing the interpretations and opinions of their neighbours! Join Kasia Janczewski, who has 10 years of experience as a local bookseller and bookclub facilitator for independent bookshops, Avid Reader and Where the Wild Things Are. Come along to The Clubhouse, Moorooka for an hour discussion on a Wednesday night each term at 7pm.

The Curious Community Quarterly Bookclub is also supported by Avid Reader Bookshop who will offer bookclub members 10% discount on bookclub titles (details below). Kasia will also be selling the following quarter’s books at the end of each session.
